Heyy, peoples!

I've been listening to Christmas music a lot lately and, unlike most Christmas seasons, I'm not really getting into the Christmas spirit. It's not like I'm going "Blaahh, the Holidays~"... And I'm not 'Grinch'-y either. I'm just...not getting excited about it. I love the music and decorating but I dunno. It's like it's not in me anymore. =/

But I am happy about one thing: I'll be able to run to my Christmas tree in pajama pants that go over my ankles. Weird thing to be happy about, I know.

I got those new PJ bottoms a couple days ago, from TJ Maxx, and was really happy when I wore them that night. I mean, do you guys know how embarrassing it is to walk around the house in PJ pants that are like...geeky highwaters?

I mean, I know that nobody really sees me in them besides my family, but still. I'm pretty glad that I got those pants. xD

-sigh- But I would still like to get into the spirit somehow. Maybe participating in my school's food drive or coat drive might help.

On another note, I've finally got back to starting on that darned Resurrection cover! xD It's coming out great, but, unfortunately I won't be able to work on it for at least another week. Why you ask? Because to make the cover I'm using Photoshop CS4 in my shop at school. And, seeing as I don't have that program at home, I'll have to wait until my next free day at shop to work on it. And who knows when that'll happen: my shop teacher can be pretty picky about our projects until we get them 100% finished. Maybe this is just me and my irritation for that habit of hers talking, but it can be kind of annoying. Mainly because it cuts down on my CS4 time D;

And, sometimes, she might even tell you to fix something when you're like, halfway done with the project when she could have told you a lot earlier. She did that to a friend of mine once. Dunno if my friend obeyed though. I just know it got her upset =/

Oh! And while I'm on the subject of my shop, I'll have you guys know that I also made tickets/flyers for my school's Sophomore Semi-Formal using CS4. It was pretty fun to make, also pretty easy (and that's saying a lot seeing as I'm just starting to get the hang of adobe programs) and it looks pretty good. =]

...Maybe I should just add CS4 to my Christmas Wish List. Right under Ipod Nano.

...I've noticed that the things that I want on my Wish List are always kind of expensive... >_>

-.-; Uh...I think both are pretty much equal for me. Sometimes I might be better at drawing a dude one day and then be better at drawing a girl, and then might do both and it'll be pwnsome... In my eyes, anyway >.>

I like both :]

...Ah...like, angles? Well, I'm good at drawing angles from both sides...

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front, side...I like to practice, but I've noticed that I've been doing side-views a lot, lately. Front side views I guess are harder because you have to get both sides of the face even...

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Uh...Making those male side-charries--y'know, people that have say, double chins, broad chins, squinty eyes, cropped hair...

◆What do you like to draw?
I like to draw my story characters.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I do both, but I'm more traditional--digital is kinda difficult for me since I'm used to traditional ^^

◆Where do you start drawing from?
Uh...I do the chin, then I start to do either the eyes or the hair.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
One eye is always smaller than the other :/

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Uh...use different shades. Like, if the thing you're drawing is green, use different shades of green instead of just one green

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
...Depends on how much effort I wanna put into it, but normally a couple of hours.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Pop rock, Rock, Contemporary...

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
They just pop up at random points in time. If I'm trying to come up with an idea it usually takes five minutes or less :\

0.5 Lead! >_< And Crayola colored pencils. And those ink pens...

Yey~ for updates!

So, I just finished watching the movie 'Taken' and I gotta say that's the BEST MOVIE EVERRRRR.

Like, you know how at the end of a movie you get all into it and you're rootin for the main charrie (if they're good) and then when they get stopped while doing their mission you scream at the television and all that? Yeah, good times, good stuff C:

So I got really into that movie... >.>

On another note, school will be starting for me this coming Thursday! And a day before that I have a soccer game (and might I add that through playing soccer I have got the most EMBARRASSING tan mark of all time.)

You know those tan marks where the lighter skin on you looks like you're wearing a t-shirt or a tank top and the rest of you is darker? Yeah, that's me--but I have the tank-top tan. D;

But it'll be gone by mid-winter ish, so I'm not worryin' ^^

Secondlay, because school is starting, I'm thinking about doing a big Resurrection Update thing--so instead of doing only one chapter, I'll do like, three and then post them and then you guys can read them and take the time that I'm using to keep up with school to catch up with Resurrection

So I'm gonna try doing that, no promises Can't say an exact date of publishing only because I have no idea how long it'll take. Hopefully not that long though--I'm gonna try to take advantage of the start of the school year since you're not given a lot of work--at least, at my school anyway. o.o

But then as the year rolls on, homework seems to increase... -.-;

So, yeah, don't get your hopes up for the three chapter set, but I'ma try to do it for you guys--because I'm just that nice ;D
